Penny Auctions on Craigslist

About a week ago, a number of iMac desktops appeared on Craigslist.com, ranging in price from $270-$320 (that’s about 20% of retail).  I would like to own one at that price, so I sent off about 5 emails to advertisers asking for a phone number to contact them for details. Continue reading

Imagine Technology Supporting People

The obvious alternative is people supporting Technology, and that seems to be the chronic bad choice.

In business, we name and staff the “Computer Support Division” while we neglect to name and purchase the devices our staff actually needs.  Or maybe they really don’t need anything new — they need a supportive word, honest encouragment, and leadership.

In the military intelligence community, we have billion dollar super spy satellites, but we fail to ask the HUMINT collectors about what we should buy them for $1000 each.

Blog Theme Changes

I’m experimenting with new themes for Increa Blog. Feedback appreciated.

Connections 1.0 by Patricia Muller, Patricia Muller, has been great, however one thing annoyed me, and a newer feature of other themes attracted me. Specifically, I could find no way to easily modify the menus along the right side for Connections, and the Coraline 1.0.1 theme by Automatic allows me to do tag clouds.

I see Connections Reloaded is available, but that doesn’t seem to have the same integration and subtlety that made Connections my choice. Was Connections 2.0 ever released by Patricia?
